At night, flowers bloom and emit their delightful fragrance to entice bats, the primary pollinators. The tree bears fruit once or twice annually, with the main season being in May to June. Durian can be propagated through either seed or grafting methods. Fresh seeds should be promptly planted as they lose viability rapidly, typically germinating within a week.
